Best advice
Unlike many other providers in the market place we do not believe that "one size fits all". We will not try to push your contractors into a standard solution. Instead we examine the personal circumstances of all contractors introduced to us, including a series of tests to determine their IR35 status and their suitability to claim business expenses, and give them best advice on how to structure their affairs whilst they are with you, whether that be our umbrella or their own personal service company. They are then provided with financial illustrations of the options discussed. By helping your contractors keep more of their income compliantly, we ensure your rates remain competitive at the minimum cost to you.

Because of our unrivalled expertise, we are not confined to one solution which may not fit all; we often provide creative solutions tailored to meet the needs of individual recruitment agencies. We are accredited by the Professional Contractors Group (PCG) and our Umbrella Company, planIT Solutions Limited, is a founding member of the Association of Employment Management Companies (AEMC) - the umbrella industry's own regulatory body. We have been advocating the need for professional standards in this industry for many years and our reputation of exemplary compliance is second to none.

Zero risk
The fact that the agency is not involved in the choice of the solution taken up by the contractor removes any risk of it being "associated" with us, within the definition of 2007's MSC legislation, and consequently removes any risk to the agency surrounding the transfer of debt regulations. In addition, as Chartered Accountants, we adhere to a strict code of ethics and processes that ensure that all funds - those of the agencies and the contractors - are always safe in our hands.

We have never been involved in offshore or other high risk solutions and have warned of the risk of such structures for many years. A contractor with a good accountant should be able to ensure an excellent return on his/her income without resorting to potentially non-compliant solutions.
