![]() National Freelancers Day In a drive to gain wider recognition for the contribution that freelancers, consultants, and contractors make to the UK economy, 23rd November has been declared National Freelancers Day. The day itself has been arranged by the PCG and will focus on three main themes: First, to highlight this flexible, agile and expert community to UK businesses, showing how to engage and work with freelancers effectively; Second, to celebrate Freelancing as a valid career choice; Third, to emphasise the importance of unlocking the full potential of freelancing and challenge the Government to recognise that freelancers are in business and entitled to clear and fair taxation laws. The National Freelancers Day website is now live and visitors to www.nationalfreelancersday.org.uk can find out more about the issues being raised. |
